“Checked out multiple days early because it was so dirty and nasty”

The location was fine for me and the area was quiet at night, but the room was very dirty when I arrived; I had to ask for new sheets (which they provided) yet the rest of the room and the mattress were nasty, the bathroom was also dirty, it seemed nothing had been cleaned after the previous guest, and I found old hairs in the room. I didn’t feel safe as a solo female traveller because of the room and the door locks, so I definitely would not recommend this place; it was nothing like the photos.

“Strategic but please prepare well in advanced”

The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly, and the location was strategic near local culinary spots, but someone was smoking in the shared area and the smoke drifted into the rooms; please keep the shared space smoke‑free. The staff were nice, but it looked like the rooms were not properly prepared before guests arrived, and the bathroom cleanliness needs a big improvement.

The AC in this place is really cold, which was a nice surprise. However, there were a few issues - the sink faucet wasn't working, there was only one TV channel (and it was Indosiar), and the towels looked pretty dirty. Not great, but at least the AC was good.

Summary of this review

This guest house has everything you need, and then some. The bed was comfy, the room was nice, and there were plenty of chairs and couches outside the room to lounge around and read. The only downside was the lack of hot water in the bathroom, but to be honest, it's not a big deal in Surabaya. Overall, it's a great value for the price.

“Hotel with Good location and comfortable”

The service and facilities here are pretty good, but I was a bit underwhelmed by the freebies they offer - just coffee, milk, tissue, and a bottle of mineral water. Not bad, but not particularly impressive either. Still, the staff were friendly and did their best.
