“All about the location and vibes”
Location, location, location—stepping out of Arugam Bay’s bustle into a quiet, beautiful surf spot with stunning views. The place feels remote, with very few people, making it perfect for connecting with other guests and relaxing in nature. The jungle vibe, natural surroundings, and spread‑out rooms give each a touch of privacy, and the local restaurant is great for eating and socialising at a reasonable price. The only downsides were a few minor inconveniences: the staff were not as friendly as the reviews suggested, so I had to wait a long time before being shown to my room and was given little information about the property, toilets, showers, or restaurant operations. When I asked questions, I felt somewhat patronised. In the dorm, there was no sheet on my bed, and the toilet paper ran out without being replaced. The place is very open to the elements, so bugs and creatures (cockroaches, snakes, etc.) are common; be aware if that bothers you.
