The room was nicely decorated and equipped, but there was no breakfast, no reception desk, and it felt like a human‑free hotel; my room was located across a ventilator system from another hotel.

Being right on Grand Place is already nice, but the fire alarm at 0630 had everyone outside for over an hour because no one could turn it off, and even the fire brigade was nowhere to be seen—what if it actually started burning?
