The accommodation was unusual, and the host was welcoming. However, it was very cold! I felt very cold during the two days I stayed, and the room was a bit dark.

Clean and the staff are kind! The location is a bit confusing, but the surrounding area is safe, so it’s fine.

Wonderful views over the palm trees, but it was very cold.

Jamal was a fantastic host who took us to local restaurants in the city. The rooftop terrace gives a nice view and the hostel feels cozy. In the morning he made a great breakfast with omelette and fruit. The downside was that because it was cold in winter, the oven kept running and released a lot of smoke. The shared living room/kitchen stayed at a comfortable temperature, but our dorm was really cold and had a smoky smell.

I stayed in a clean spot that’s quiet, with a crazy view of the stream and sunrise. The breakfast from Jamal was tasty. On the first day, Jamal, the hostel owner, was very patient, friendly, and helped me get oriented. But on the second day, when I decided to stay another night, his behavior was very disappointing—he seemed drunk, responded unpleasantly, was loud and strange, and the peak moment was his free Palestine sticker that made me leave the place early in the morning. I recommend staying away from this spot.
