How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The room and bathroom were clean, the service was good, and the facilities were adequate. However, there were a lot of monitor lizards roaming the grounds, which was quite frightening, and the staircase on the middle side of the hotel should be moved from the front because it’s right next to the road; more security is needed.

The large bathroom with a wonderful shower and the very friendly staff were highlights. The charming house with its lovely veranda, the great pool, and the ability to walk down the stairs to the sea were all super, especially with the big turtles. We did miss the curtains, which made the mornings too bright, and the fridge wasn’t very tidy.

The cabin facing the ocean with access to Turtle Beach, the refined “luxuary” cabin, and the kind staff were all excellent. It’s only a 3‑minute tuk‑tuk or scooter ride from the lively street of Unawatuna.

The magnificent, very clean pool with a sea view was a highlight. It’s very close to Turtle Beach where you can see turtles swimming freely. The rooms were nice, clean, and well‑furnished. The on‑site restaurant served good Sri Lankan or continental breakfast, and the hotel manager spoke English well and was very helpful. The only downside was the train noise that passes several times a day.

The staff were very awesome and super friendly, and the restaurant employees were warm and welcoming. The food at the restaurant was very delicious. The security guard was helpful and nice. The hotel pool and garden were amazing, and the location is directly on the beach and very close to Turtle Beach. We stayed in a very standard room that was okay but could have been cleaner. We asked to change the bedsheets because there were a lot of black short and long hairs in the bed (not ours). The bathroom was also not very clean or nice.
