The soundproofing was lacking, the beds creaked, and the mattresses were too soft.

The reception was incredibly kind and available, the décor is very nice, the hotel feels cozy, and I can’t remember a calmer night at a hotel (even though it was listed as full) or a room that was so dark! What a joy. And the breakfast was excellent!

It was fairly quiet, but the building feels like a relic.

The location is easy to find and the staff are friendly; a gas station is across the street and a bistro and restaurant are within walking distance. The building is dated with a deteriorated wooden exterior. Rooms are small and the mattresses feel worse than before. The bathroom door is so narrow that when it’s open you can’t reach the sink, and the shower tap is below knee height, making it impossible to bend without bumping your head.
