“my stay was very nice, the host told me about the street car and where i could go to look around and shop”

The hosts were incredibly warm and sweet; even though I arrived late they made sure everything was ready and helped me fix the TV. The bed was ultra‑comfortable and soft, and the bathroom was spotless with all the essentials.

“comfortable bed, friendly owner, across from City Park”

Russell, our host, was friendly and easy to chat with; the low‑key vibe of the old house was charming, and the bed was comfy. We walked to Café du Monde in City Park for a café au lait under the live oaks in the morning, then crossed Bayou St. John to a cute business district with good spots like Café Degas for brunch. The 91 bus stops right by the property, and we also walked a little over two miles to the French Quarter, which was a pleasant stroll. This place was a relaxed base for our weekend in New Orleans, far calmer than staying in the French Quarter. I had no complaints, but if you’re after a super fancy stay, this won’t meet that need; it’s comfortable, charming, quiet, and offers good value.

“Nice people and location but way too expensive for what you get.”

The people were very nice and helpful, and communication was smooth. The bed was very comfortable, the shower/tub had great water pressure, and parking was good. There were nice nearby attractions. The only downside was that it wasn’t clean.

The manager—or owner—was really nice, very accommodating, and gave clear instructions on how to use the facilities. The location is great.
