Just 50 m from the pier, and walking across the pier you find Carrefour and a Sichuan restaurant! Most importantly, this accommodation is basically a family home with a kitchen, living room, and a platform. There’s also a washing machine, which was very important to us. The large platform offers river views and a place to lay out clothes. The mosquito control could be improved.

I was greeted warmly and found the place easy to reach, especially the fast Wi‑Fi, but the slightly misaligned window let bugs in.

The spot near the ferry had a huge room, friendly staff, an amazing view, comfy beds, and a roomy bathroom—everything was fantastic, and nothing was missing.

Only a two‑minute walk to the ferry on Elephantine Island, the accommodation offered a large bedroom, living room, and kitchen, was clean and quiet, and I liked everything.
