“Goed hotel voor de doorreis naar”
The Tag hotel is close to the highway, and we’ve visited it several times over the years while traveling to Bari for the ferry. The nice thing is you can park in a closed space under the hotel with your roof box on it. The restaurant is business‑like, but dinner and breakfast are good. If you can’t use breakfast because of travel time, you can ask the front desk for a take‑away pack. Nearby is a large mall with many shops and a supermarket that attracts a lot of people. Around the hotel there are various restaurants and a few shops worth seeing. The hotel is dog‑friendly and has plenty of space for walks. This year we noticed the room we had was a bit dated—there’s some paint on the walls and the toilet seat isn’t firmly attached to the wall. The shower area might need a thorough cleaning, especially the rubber on the doors and the tap that switches the handheld shower to the rain shower didn’t work well.
