“Fantastic Location, Even Better Staff”
I stayed at Ruby Hotel for only one night, but the experience was so good that I’ll almost certainly return to Srinagar and book again. The location is fantastic—central and incredibly convenient for getting around the city. The hotel itself was comfortable, and the meal I had there was absolutely lovely. What really made the stay special was the staff. They were incredibly warm, friendly, engaging, and always eager to help. I had a nightmare trying to sort out a local SIM card at the Airtel shop just down the road; when I mentioned the problem to the staff, within about ten minutes they arranged for someone to come over and help me. The guy they found was fantastic and got everything sorted. That kind of effort goes far beyond what you normally expect from a hotel. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and even though I was only there for one night, they made me feel genuinely welcome. Excellent location, lovely food and, most importantly, fantastic people. I’ll definitely be happy to stay here again when I’m back in Srinagar.
