“Wonderful stay”

A stay that tops all others I’ve had while touring China – the décor mixes traditional charm with a modern edge, feels very cozy and spotlessly clean. The on‑site café looks gorgeous and serves coffee that’s absolutely delicious. The team is incredibly friendly and welcoming, ready to help with anything you need. The only downside is that nothing of interest is within walking distance; you’ll need a DiDi or a bus, which takes about 10‑15 minutes, so plan that in advance.

The hotel matches its description and photos perfectly. From the room window you can see Phoenix Island, and at night the towers light up. The room is clean, with good linens and a comfortable bed, and all the essentials are present. Special thanks to Ouyan, who was helpful with any question at any time – we’re very grateful. I definitely recommend this place; it delivers on price‑quality. Everything was great.

The hotel is beautiful and unique, traditional yet modern. Elevator only starts at the 3rd floor, so you have to climb stairs. The guy at reception helped with our luggage, which we appreciated. From the room you get a great sea view. Plenty of public areas: a tea house and a lovely rooftop with a good view. We took taxis to the beach and to the city center. No restaurant on site, so we had to take a taxi for food. When the window was open, you could hear the port noise, but the room had an AC.
