The cleanliness, the privacy of the pool, and the kitchen’s attention to detail. It’s a bit of a trek, but once you’re there you’re right at home.

The sunset. The umbrella was broken and unusable, a shame. They could have left a laundry capsule and shower gel—small details. There were many ants and a gecko on the inside roof that we saw on several nights.

The house is lovely, and watching sunsets by the pool is a treat. It’s larger than I expected, and I rested well. Despite the negatives I recommend the place if you want to disconnect. The kitchen, living room, and bathroom windows all face the street and need curtains. Around the area there are many dogs, and some can be a bit annoying. They should buy ant traps because I found ants in the kitchen and toilet, and even though there’s insecticide, the smell it leaves is unpleasant. The internet worked only for the first two days. At the front of the house there was sometimes a woman shouting at someone inside (luckily I didn’t coincide with that), and she stared in an uncooperative way, which was uncomfortable. If you plan to visit the island, this accommodation is quite far from everything.

The hotel sits in a quiet area, and the private pool plus terrace views were fantastic—everything was perfect.
