Everything was fine. The only thing is the bedroom TV could use a swivel bracket so you can watch it from bed.

We've been here three times and it's always been a great experience, so we're already planning our next visit. Everything was perfect on our latest stay, no complaints at all. The place has a lovely atmosphere and we feel right at home. We're looking forward to coming back again soon.

This place is amazing, right on the river with a view of otters. The lodge has fantastic facilities and a really welcoming vibe. We had a super relaxed holiday, just what we needed. The atmosphere was chilled and we enjoyed every moment.

Our relaxing holiday quickly turned into a nightmare. We arrived to find wood shavings in the bedroom and on the floor, and when we tried to call management, no one answered. The real problem was the live wasps in the bedroom - I have anaphylaxis, so it was a serious risk. We tried to get in touch with the owner, but it took a while and we even had to sleep on the sofa for safety.

We just stayed at Apple Lodge and it was honestly the best place we've ever stayed. Karen showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. The lodge was spotless, with a huge bathroom and amazing shower. The log burner and hot tub were great touches, and the welcome basket was a lovely surprise. The only downside was the WiFi, which was a bit patchy on our mobiles - but that's to be expected in a rural location. We wish we could have stayed longer!
