“Tranquilidad”
The retreat felt peaceful, well‑set, and the staff were wonderful and attentive, always checking on us and giving us information. The worst part was the road: the entrance from the Linares bypass is an agricultural path heavily used by farm machinery, then a 2 km unpaved stretch to the estate. It’s understandable since it’s in the middle of the dehesa, but that first part is the worst. We were traveling with a baby, so we detoured each time we left the farm road toward Vilches, passing the Fernandina reservoir and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The detour might add a few kilometers but saves time because the other path requires very slow driving. Visiting the nearby villages like Baños de la Encina, Úbeda, or Baeza is worthwhile.
