Excellent location, very comfortable, plenty of self‑catering amenities, nice and warm. The fireplace hadn’t been cleaned and there were no instructions on how to use it, but we figured it out and it kept the house cozy. The bins were overflowing from previous guests and some trash was in the garden. It seems the batteries in the door keypads are low because the rear one stopped working.

The furnishings were lovely and comfortable. The wood fire and heaters kept the rooms warm and cozy. The house had everything you could need. It’s on the main road into Oberon, but it’s not busy so the place stayed quiet. We’d also recommend stopping by the friendly staff at the tourist information centre. Two bathrooms were great, but neither was ensuite, and we had to turn the TV on and off at the power point.

We were three girlfriends on a road trip and the room was beautifully and tastefully decorated, with a perfect bed setup that kept us comfortable. The beds were spotless, and the two bathrooms were flawless, especially the large bath that was a real treat. The extra wood for the heater was a thoughtful touch and really appreciated. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, so we’d definitely book again. The room suited our needs perfectly, and we didn’t spend any time outside.

The place had a good location and looked modern—probably the best in that regional town. However, the directions to the property were unclear; we were told to go through No. 48 but there was no sign for No. 56, so we drove past and had to backtrack twice to find a strange, bumpy driveway. Trying to find it at night would be extremely hard.

The spot was spot‑on – right where we wanted to be and the room felt spacious with really comfy beds. We hit a snag getting into the place at first, but the owner was quick to respond and sorted it out. All in all, a solid stay once we were inside.
