“Bel établissement”
The hotel is charming and perfect if you want to discover the Soca Valley, but the breakfast was a bit empty at 8:30.
A pleasant, clean hotel in the center with friendly and helpful staff; once we dined in the hotel and the fish were excellent! Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay.
The place sits right in the tourist heart of Kobarid, and parking is immediately outside. The staff were pleasant. There was no kettle, and breakfast was fairly basic. If your room faces the main street, like ours did, it could be noisy. The shower was over a bath with a plastic sheet screen.
Located in the center of Kobarid, but the breakfast selection was very sparse.
“Naar mijn hoofd geschreeuwd door de eigenaresse omdat ik om ontbijtbroodjes vroeg”
I stayed in the city centre. Breakfast was served between 8 and 10:00, but we arrived at 9:00 and found the buffet half empty with no more rolls left. When I asked for more rolls, the staff replied that they only bake a standard amount and no more, and that I should have come earlier. I felt that was not a good solution; I pay for breakfast, so it shouldn’t be finished by 9:00. The owner got angry and shouted at me, telling us to leave the hotel. I’ve never experienced such rudeness and lack of understanding, just a real outburst at me. We left, risking having to find something else in peak season. Thanks for that. Oh, and when I tried to drain the bathtub, water shot up from a well in the bathroom, so I had to stop with a towel.
