The reception was friendly, the breakfast conversations were long, the offered excursions were great, the vibe felt warm, and the explanations were clear, but I had to leave Nuku Hiva to continue my trip.

The host was very good, the connection and conversations were great, and the view while having breakfast was amazing; the place was nice and cosy, and they were very helpful when support was needed. The only downside is that it may take up to 25 minutes walking to reach the village centre for groceries and other activities, but if you’re in good shape that should be fine.

The breakfast is very good, fresh every morning on Annie's terrace with a superb view of the bay, and the host is very friendly. The bungalow is fine with a pleasant terrace overlooking nature. BUT the road access is almost impossible and not warned about; Wi‑Fi is very difficult in the bungalow; there is no parking, so we parked on the roadside at the bottom and had to walk up the slope of the fare 2 or 3 times a day plus stairs afterwards… drinks in the fridge are billed without notice; lack of wardrobe and shelves; the bungalow unfortunately is poorly insulated against all the mechanical noises around.
