“in Al Canto werden wir irgendwann noch einmal übernachten! Grüße an Nicholas”
The host Nicholas is very attentive, communicative, and always helpful. The rooms have a Florentine charm. Parking on the side streets is always available, and we saw and heard nothing about theft or damage. Breakfast is satisfactory, covering everything you need in the city until noon. Two bus stops to the city are within a 5‑10 minute walk. Be sure to study the schedules and plan for bus delays, which can sometimes be up to half an hour. We missed booking online tickets; only one ticket is sold on the bus with a card, best with a credit card, otherwise only MasterCard. Booking all tours online saves time. In the city, eat on the side streets! The bus schedule reliability and general stop orientation are poor, as in all tourist cities, with too many visitors. Driving in Italy is a tiny adventure!
