From the outside, a steep spiral staircase leads to the second floor; the room felt cramped, with no wardrobe or storage for clothes, no towel rack in the bathroom, and the TV was broken. There were no parking options, so you had to search far for a spot.

The location was good, parking was right outside the door, check‑in and check‑out were hassle‑free, the bed was very comfortable, the value for money was acceptable, and coffee/tea were available in the room. However, the spiral staircase to the rooms was really narrow, offering very little storage (nothing by the bed, almost none in the bathroom, and nothing in the shower), there were no towel hooks, hair was found in the bathroom cabinet, the shower fixture was broken, the table outlet was missing for a kettle, and the bedside lamp was defective. If more storage were provided, there would be hardly anything to complain about at that price. I would definitely book again.

Reaching Oberhausen Sterkrade Bhf was easy; the offered coffee/tea preparation and chocolates were nice, but only sugar was available besides the kettle.
