“Très satisfait !”

The location is fantastic, just 5 min from the Casbah and 10 min from the main tourist spots; the staff are very friendly but they’re not on site, so you’ll need to call ahead via WhatsApp. There’s no air‑conditioning, only a fan, but the kitchen is functional. You can book dorms or a room with two single beds. Overall I’m happy with the service and the value for money – big thanks to Ali! The only downside is the lack of AC.

It turned out to be a scam. I arrived to find everything closed; the phone number didn’t answer and locals told me the hotel didn’t exist, so I cancelled the booking. Unfortunately I was still charged, and there was no refund from Booking.

“Hotel en Tunisie sous 50°”

The location is decent. The breakfast is very basic and the espresso or cappuccino are extra‑paid, which feels stingy. There’s no bottled water in the rooms even though it’s 50 °C, and no tissues either. The male staff are quite rough and don’t give enough attention to customers. I won’t stay here again.

The hotel sits in the center of Constantine, which is great for visitors. The staff are attentive and caring. The only issues are the missing air‑conditioner—summer is scorching—and the lack of a microwave to reheat meals.

“If you want a dilapidated, abandoned building in Algeria at European prices, this is your place”

The location is convenient. The place is run down, overpriced, and basically unattended. The plumbing was leaking in the bathroom, and I had to fix it myself. I even had to let in other hostel guests as there was no staff around
