How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean enough for a short overnight stay, and overall the hotel met my basic needs for a decent night’s rest, though the Wi‑Fi kept dropping out—probably due to my room’s position.

Conveniently located with plenty of room and a recent makeover, but the unlined curtains let in too much light early in the morning and would likely make the room chilly at night without double glazing; the shower was warm but not hot, and I’m not thrilled about paying for parking in the ample lot.

The breakfast was mediocre; the floor boards outside creaked, walls were thin with lots of noise, the bathroom had mould, a bright spotlight outside the bedroom window stayed on all night and thin curtains couldn’t block it, the site advertised free parking but I was charged £7 upon arrival, the bed had a thin foam mattress that made sleeping impossible, and the room felt a bit cramped.

The location is lovely, rooms are comfortable, the restaurant is very nice and the staff are friendly, but the decor and furniture feel very dated and could use an update.

A lovely hotel with great staff and everything else was fine.
