The room was a good size, and the beds were comfortable. Hot water and a very cozy atmosphere made it a pleasant stay.

“Never again is all.”

I skipped breakfast. The staff at Maggie's were rude, and the dinner we had was awful, with the mother/daughter team acting exceptionally discourteous.

“Affordable room in a Charming Historic building. Great Restaurant!”

The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was huge and beautiful. The hotel kept all the basic modern amenities while preserving its historic feel, and even though the casino was downstairs, the rooms upstairs stayed very quiet. Maggie's Restaurant served awesome American‑style food—burgers, salads, chicken‑fried steak, etc.—at great prices, and Kelsey, the waitress, became a friend over our several visits.

“Great room in a lovely old hotel with very helpful staff and a good restaurant/bar. Very reasonable!”

We loved the room, and the bathroom was huge and spotless. The coffee service in the room was good, and Maggie's Restaurant and Bar in the cellar was great and very reasonable. Linda, Kelsey, and daughter Jaden were especially helpful. We enjoyed staying in an old hotel in the great old town, visiting the Old Homestead, Palace Hotel, McGill's, and Pearl deVere's grave, thanks to Linda and others for directions. It was a great time we hope to never forget! The 26 steps to the rooms were a problem—(we’re old and have knee issues).

“Linda at the front desk is great!!”

The staff was amazing and the rooms were great. The common areas upstairs really need cleaning; it doesn’t look like they’ve been vacuumed in years, especially obvious under the furniture. It would be nice to have a place to hang our clothes since there was no closet.
