“Wir haben herrliche Tage in Lakinda Lodge verbracht- sehr zu empfehlen!”
We spent five fantastic days there. The family was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Mallika cooked superbly, and we never wanted to eat anywhere else. A trip to Kumana was arranged for us, and it turned out to be a memorable experience! The wooden house and the entire lodge are nicely tucked into the landscape, everything is well maintained and thoughtfully designed. We highly recommend this accommodation and would love to return.

Everything turned out wonderfully—the owner was warm and welcoming, the breakfasts and dinners were superb, and they arranged an amazing safari for us. Still, this style of lodging isn’t suited to every traveler; we wanted to be close to nature, so we were pleased with everything.

They organized a safari for us, and the host even got up with us at 5 am to prepare a lunch box – that was really kind of her. The room was clean and exactly as shown in the photos, and the location is quiet. However, there was no hot water, and the lonely beach 150 m away, while beautiful, is only useful for a walk because there’s no shade and the sea is too rough.
The family is super tidy and currently has a puppy. The food is delicious, they’re always helpful and assist with tour planning. Nothing to add.
