The staff was very friendly and provided breakfast that was worth the money. The surroundings were greeny and looked nice. The network connection was null and that was the major difficulty at the end of the day. They gave us the home Wi‑Fi password, which was not enough to cover the whole area. You may need to bring your own drinking water. It is good to have enough blankets and bed sheets put on. The water pressure was not enough in the bathrooms.

The staff were friendly and the service solid, and the spot is right between Lion Rock and the town, so I’d recommend it.

I'm really disappointed with our recent stay at this hotel. We had booked a room that included breakfast, and we'd even let the staff know in advance that we'd be heading out to Sigiriya Lion Rock early and would be back in time for breakfast. But when we returned at 9:15 AM, expecting a meal that was already paid for, we were told that breakfast was over at 9:00 AM.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well-equipped the room was, and it was spotless. However, be aware that the location is way off the beaten path, and you'll be a good distance from the city.
