Kind staff, packed breakfast for early departure, 1 min from Ollantaytambo archeological site and 15 min from the train station, located in a quiet alley, but the walls are thin.

Eureka Lodge sits in downtown Ollantaytambo, just 15 m from the town’s main attraction and a short 8‑minute walk to the Machu Picchu train station. Rooms overlook a flower‑filled garden and the archaeological site, featuring hand‑woven blankets, classic wooden floors, ensuite baths, and large windows. The restaurant showcases Inca stonework, serving local cuisine and fresh juices. A 24‑hour front desk, living room, and laundry room enhance guest comfort.

Beautiful place! The service was excellent, and Ruth and Mijail made the stay truly amazing.

Cute lodge, the staff were lovely and super attentive when we needed things like hot water or bag scales, and the daily breakfast was good. It’s just a few metres from a lively outdoor market and a short walk to the town centre. The water supply is a characteristic of the old town: it went out a few times during the day for a few hours, so showers and toilets were unusable, and showers took a while to heat up. Power was cut to half the town for most of one evening.

The staff, run by the owners, created a warm and family‑like atmosphere. A potential issue is that the local water supply might run out at times.

Great location just under the archeological site. The staff were super kind and they let me leave my car 2 days in their private parking for free while I was at Machu Pichu
