We appreciated the jungle fence sharing, the uninterrupted power, and the polite, helpful staff, but the room felt cramped, the path was slick with algae and water that stayed clogged all day even after early‑morning rain—cleaning would help guests—and the restaurant fell short: the Chinese dishes were super salty and awful, the mixed veg was subpar, yet the paneer pakoda and boroli fish were excellent.

Breakfast felt homely, served with genuine care and hospitality; the tower was impressive and we abandoned our plan for a tower safari to stay at the resort instead, though the tower seating needs better dusting and cleaning.

The staff went above and beyond to welcome us and arrange everything in Lataguri, the spot next to the national park is great for jungle safaris, and the rooms, food, and extra services were all very affordable, but the room lacked good insulation—morning chill and damp sheets from outside humidity, especially in the bathroom where a ventilation hole let cold air in—and the ten light switches made it confusing to switch lights on and off.
