The location was fantastic, but the room wasn’t large and it wasn’t the same as the photo I booked; I expected a mountain‑view room.

We absolutely loved our weekend at the Apple loft rooms in Ambleside, using the Apple loft as our base; the location was perfect, within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Both of our rooms were beautifully equipped with all amenities, including a selection of teas and snacks, and the Apple Pie Cafe was amazing—overall a great experience and we’d love to return on our next trip.

The location was great, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the view from the window of the Bridge House and Loughrigg was fantastic; I also enjoyed the Grasmere gingerbread. The only downside was that a small table would have been nice so that when the curtains were closed you had somewhere to put your cup.
