The spot is a bit outside the main village, about a 15‑minute walk to the center, and it’s very quiet. There’s a restaurant nearby with a decent menu. The hosts are friendly, though they don’t speak English, and the place feels like a home.
I loved the place – it felt very homely and welcoming.
“Lovely stay in Jyrgalan”
We really enjoyed the location! The guest house sits in a tiny village full of animals. The host cooked lovely food and made sure we felt at home.
The people are sweet and welcoming. The food is great (dinner costs an extra 800 som per person). The beds have linens you don’t see in the photos. It’s just outside the village, so there’s no construction noise. The toilet was small and I didn’t fit in it very well.
I stayed in a house run by a wonderful, super‑loving and very hospitable family in a very quiet spot a bit off the main village. The village itself is under a lot of construction right now, but that doesn’t affect the stay here at all. It’s the perfect starting point for various hikes around the area. My room on the first floor even had a small loggia onto the street with a lovely view of the impressive mountain scenery, was spacious enough and had very comfortable beds and a very comfy armchair. Wifi worked well overall. The bathroom is reachable via a small wooden staircase on the ground floor, it’s a bit narrow but very clean and always has hot water. A simple breakfast is served every morning at the requested time. If you ask, you can also get a fairly extensive dinner (salad, soup, main course). The family also took into account that I like to eat vegetarian. The village, where there are a few small shops for groceries, is about a 15‑minute walk. I spent three nights here and would book again anytime.
