The service was unsatisfactory for two reasons: first, there was a noticeable musty smell in the guest room; second, I called room service at 1 p.m. for bathrobes and an extra quilt, but the items never arrived in my room by nightfall.

They upgraded our room category, which was very pleasing, and overall the hotel is a good, understandable chain. There are cafés and restaurants nearby, though it is not exactly in the center.

We've stayed at this hotel for four years, and each year the standards have steadily declined. This year we booked two lake‑view rooms, receiving one nice room on the 5th floor and a second on the 2nd floor where the lake view was blocked by trees. When we asked to move from the 2nd to the 5th floor, our request was denied, making the money paid for the lake view a complete waste—a total rip‑off. In one room a window wouldn't open and the air conditioner barely worked, providing almost no cooling and leaving us hot and stifled. Breakfast was terrible: no fish, stale bread, tasteless tea brewed in a pitcher, and only one bean‑to‑cup coffee machine for a huge number of guests, causing long lines. We won't order breakfast again—it was a total disappointment.
