The environment was very nice, the place was clean, and the staff were friendly.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, check‑in went smoothly, and the owner lady was pleasant. We should also praise that the hotel restaurant was the only place in town open on Sunday evenings where you could get food. The only slightly unpleasant thing was the room décor; some figurines and people on the pictures were a bit unsettling, but it’s just a detail.

The room was simple but very clean. The atmosphere matched the adjacent museum, which I already knew. It was really great—there was a plan for breakfast with about 12 options to choose from, which I think is economical and ecological—no lavish buffet means less food waste. It’s a shame the host couldn’t speak German, but where there’s a will, there’s a way, and with a bit of English and effort everything was fine.
