We had a lovely stay; the bungalows were very nice and peaceful, and there were plenty of comfortable spots on the grounds, like hammocks and lounge chairs. The host family was helpful and kind, and we especially enjoyed the fresh and fried spring rolls at the restaurant. The location had pros and cons: it was peaceful and close to the Trang A boat ride, but there were fewer restaurants nearby.

The hotel was pretty good overall, the staff were great and the breakfast was delicious. However, if you need a motorbike taxi in hot weather, they seemed reluctant to pick us up at that spot, though the location is central if you have your own rental motorcycle.

After Hanoi, this place is wonderful – no traffic noise, just goats. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, the homestay serves excellent food; I loved the vegetable curry. They organize trips and transport, have a pool table, a pool, and table football. I wish I’d stayed longer, and the breakfast choices were great too.

The surroundings are beautiful and very quiet, close to most tourist spots in Ninh Binh; you can rent a bike or motorcycle and get there quickly. The food was very good and cheap, and we’d definitely come back. Everything at the place met our expectations.
