The welcome was excellent and the room spotless; the evening meal and breakfast were also excellent, with nothing to complain about.

The place was clean, comfortable, had friendly and attentive staff, and the food was good. It’s not a Ritz and some facilities look a bit worn, but it delivers on its promises and, for the price, it was great. The room had no complaints, and breakfast was one of the best I’ve had anywhere, served by staff who took their job seriously. The only downside was the lack of dedicated parking; we had to use the nearby council car park.

The staff were excellent, the breakfast was great, and the value for money was outstanding, yet there was no parking on site; the only option was public car parks outside the Crown, and the car had to be moved before 8 am.
