It was tidy. It’s a scam: they use one location to collect your money and then send you elsewhere where there is no heating. Once you enter, your data network disappears. Just outside the door the network is strong, but inside the building something kills your data. You use a code to open the door so nobody around can hear your complaints.

I feel very comfortable in Room 3. There aren’t enough pillows for me.

Nothing at all. No working shower, no towels, ten people living in one room downstairs, old HMO with people coming and going all night, it stinks of mold, and they moved me from the online listing to a place with people living there like it was their own house for more money than it’s worth. I will never recommend this place to anyone; please do not book it, not even £10 a night.

I found no TV, no kettle, no tea or coffee in the room—everything was very basic. The place is within walking distance of Burnley town. I was told by the owners that the key to the room was in the kitchen drawers, but it turned out another guest had already pointed out that the key was actually in the bedroom door when I couldn't locate it. When I messaged the owner about the missing TV, they said it wasn’t advertised that there was one; I had expected a TV, kettle, tea, and coffee to be standard. I only stayed overnight, so I suggested that anyone needing TV, radio, or entertainment bring a laptop. The property does offer Wi‑Fi, and the owner gave me the password right away when I asked.
