Hotel Clitunno

The location is great and breakfast was decent, though not outstanding, and one of the three rooms was really nice. Unfortunately the staff were far from welcoming; we booked three rooms and only later realized each was different and far apart, forcing us to move once we saw them all. Room 214 was disgraceful even for a one‑star property. In two of the three bathrooms the shower soap was missing, and at breakfast there was only plain whole‑milk yogurt. The electric charging post didn’t work, and when we asked we were told “maybe it doesn’t work”. The hallway cleaning also left a lot to be desired.

“ottimo soggiorno hotel posizione comodissima”

The central spot was excellent and convenient, breakfast was superb, the bathroom was standard, and the car park was handy next to a municipal multi‑storey building that was easy and quick to reach. Nothing to complain about.

“Ottima colazione, posizione centro storico, ottimo anche il parcheggio per l’auto”

The location was good, the staff were courteous. The bathrooms in the rooms had scuffed whirlpool tubs and looked old.

“Non consiglio!”

The location is good. The 4‑star rating is absolutely misleading. The experience was very unpleasant. We were given a room that obviously doesn’t match the images shown on Booking, and I’m aware they’re just images, but it’s still far below expectations. There’s no wardrobe, no working fridge, the window is blocked by a canopy, the bathroom has steps, a tub, and a plastic shower curtain. We asked for a change. They gave us a room next to a… what a marvel, a non‑working toilet (we had to use the trash can to flush). They claim to have fixed it but nothing changed. On top of that, the bed slats broke while we were sleeping. Terrible. I absolutely do not recommend it for what you pay.
