The apartment was welcoming and well kept, surrounded by greenery, and the host was very helpful; there was a fence with horses, a nice surprise for my daughters. However, as the map shows, it sits on a different hill from Orvieto, so the road to get there is all winding. The bathroom lacked shampoo and body wash because it was a fully rented apartment (not a hotel room), a situation I wasn’t prepared for, but the host still offered help.
