The décor and friendliness were nice, but the breakfast was bland and unremarkable, offering only eggs each day; the beds were soggy and uncomfortable, and on one day there was no hot water at all. It’s expensive for what it delivers, so I don’t recommend it.

“All in all, lovely people and full marks for effort but the room structures were a bit strange.”

The staff were helpful, though their English varied. When I asked for a disposable shower cap, they gave my wife a reusable one instead, which I appreciated. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, and the market fruits were chopped for us in the evening. The outdoor sitting area with a small fountain was a nice place to relax after a long day. My wife and I needed cold packs daily, and they kept them in the freezer and returned them whenever we asked. The rooms were disappointing, though. Midway through our 9‑day stay we had to move because the AC in our room emitted a strange odor; a technician couldn't find a fault, so they offered a room change. In the new room the bathroom ceiling opened into the room instead of outside—an odd design—and mosquitoes were a problem.

Everything was perfect! The staff were so friendly and kind, helping us out with recommendations. The breakfast in the morning was always a 10/10. Location was also a plus, we were able to walk everywhere

“Lovely stay in Oaxaca”

Everything was perfect. The room was huge and spotless, with a lovely back patio. The hotel’s design and overall vibe were wonderful, and everyone was very kind. It’s definitely my favorite stay during my entire trip to Mexico!
