It was an ordinary ryokan, but the tatami were new, which was nice. The parking lot is a bit uphill from the inn, so you have to walk up a slope.

The host was the friendliest, most helpful person I’ve met in Japan. A joy. The place itself was attractive, clean, and convenient.

Warm, attentive welcome, perfect cleanliness, clear communication before and during the stay. The rooms were bright, and the shared bathroom on the ground floor was superb, with shower stalls on the upper floor for those in a hurry. It’s within walking distance of the station, and there’s also a private parking lot if needed. Water, tea, and coffee are self‑served. We only stayed one night on our road trip around Wakayama and Mie, but we would have liked to stay longer. Nothing to criticize.

The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming, showing genuine interest in you. As another review mentioned, it feels like staying with family. The room was traditional Japanese style and very clean. I also tried the onsen and really enjoyed it. The station is just a 4‑minute walk away, and there are several izakayas nearby. Thank you for your hospitality; I’ll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Japan.
