St. Peter' Six Rooms & Suites sits in Rome’s historic center, a five‑minute stroll from Vatican City and 300 m to Saint Peter’s Square. Modern rooms feature elegant wooden décor, air‑conditioning, flat‑screen TVs, minibars, and some offer Vatican views. Complimentary Wi‑Fi, a buffet breakfast with Nespresso, and proximity to Ottaviano Metro and Trastevere’s nightlife enhance its appeal.

The spot is incredible—right inside the extended Vatican walls. There’s a single main room with a double and a single bed, plus an open mezzanine with a single bed. The beds were comfy, the room spotless, and breakfast was a pastry or toasted sandwich, a hot drink, and juice at a café across the street—perfect. The room itself is very basic; the décor and furnishings lack style and quality. The mezzanine has no air conditioning and was scorching in September; the fan didn’t help at all. The bathroom’s shower has a low ceiling and no shelf for toiletries. We drove in, so a bit more detailed parking info would have been useful.

The location is fine, but the noise from the streets is a problem. There’s no lobby, and the rooms have small issues—especially the bathrooms. The hairdryer plug didn’t work, and when showering the water spilled onto the floor, making it wet and slippery (I slipped and fell). The walls are so thin that we could hear every shower in the adjacent room.

The host was friendly and amazing. Breakfast was a weak point.
