The location and traditional Korean atmosphere are great, and the staff are very polite, but communication in English is weak despite both sides’ friendly intentions.

Jeju’s unique atmosphere and the sea were wonderful, and I loved the tranquil ambience and landscaping. It was disappointing that, even in summer, the pool only offered cold water and no warm option, and a mosquito coil on the outdoor terrace would have been useful. When it rained for two days, there wasn’t a single umbrella in the room and the front desk said none were left to rent, which was a let‑down. Also, there was no checkout questionnaire asking whether the stay was comfortable, which I missed.

The view was fantastic, but the construction left the place dirty and the grass mixed with soil, making the ground uneven. The bathroom was cramped, the deluxe room was terrible, sand kept spilling into the bathtub so I couldn’t enjoy a soak, a cleaning staff left a toothbrush in the toilet, the TV was broken and rarely turned on, and despite mentioning these issues nothing improved – the room condition was the worst.

The garden was very beautiful, the houses were small but spacious, the food was good, and the staff were helpful!
