Two hours before arrival the hotel called us, apologized and said that because of water problems they had re‑booked us at a nearby hotel. We didn’t like that and left the next morning. It would have been nice if they had offered us a choice – to find something ourselves or to go to the place they suggested, rather than just putting it in front of us.

The atmosphere was excellent, the location super, and the food outstanding, but there was no air conditioning.

The location is good, the restaurant is just across the street, and there’s a nice common area to hang out in the evening. The emergency light in the room is very bright at night, which is unnecessary, and a sitting area in the yard would be a great addition.

It sits in a beautiful valley, right next to the road. A few finishing touches are still needed to make it fully ready, but with a little more practicality it will be great. Meals are served at the restaurant across the road; the portions are large enough. Dinner is a set menu, while breakfast offers several options. The owner explains the hiking opportunities nearby in detail. The mattresses are still very new and comfortable, so we slept well on both nights. I’m not familiar with the local regulations on emergency escape routes, but the green indicator light bothered me; I would suggest adding a blackout curtain.

The family hotel was very pleasant. The room was clean and ideal for four people, with a double bed for the kids and a comfortable bedroom. There is a nice restaurant near the hotel (I think the hotel has a restaurant in winter). The owner was very friendly and gave us ideas for walks in the area. It was a wonderful outing.
