The communal courtyard is a must‑visit for one or more nights in this area; it’s relatively new, built to a high standard, and the operators are very attentive and friendly. The owner, who grew up on this property, knows the geography and fascinating history of the region very well. Unfortunately, the dining area feels like a dead zone, but hopefully that will improve soon.

Szabi welcomed us warmly even though we were late. We stayed in a wonderfully furnished room where we slept soundly. After a generous, tasty breakfast we continued our bike tour with a few snacks the owners had kindly provided.
