It was well equipped and warm, and the bed was comfortable. It was close to all amenities in Oakura and even though it was next door to the tavern it wasn’t noisy. The bathroom door needs a rubber stopper to stop it slamming.

Everything checked out: easy to find, neat, tidy, very clean, the bed was comfortable, the restaurant was right next door, it was incredibly quiet, and the staff were lovely. Absolutely nothing was wrong; it was perfect.

The location was great and suited our needs, and we had good access to everything we required. The only downside was that we had only one key, and the bathroom felt a little cramped.
