Breakfast was excellent with a reasonable selection, the room was compact yet had everything we needed, and the location was great—close to town but still the quietest place we’ve ever visited. Our dog even got treats at breakfast, a kind gesture—thanks! No negatives at all.

The room was spacious and very comfortable, the spot is ideal for exploring the town, and there’s plenty of private parking. Breakfast was okay, though they ran out of blueberries. I had to call the owner on the first night because the central heating was left on and the room felt uncomfortable; the staff are efficient but not personable—an upbeat “good morning” would be nice.
