The place is comfortable and pleasant, with solid facilities and just a short walk to the bustling Quadrado area. Even though it's right in the heart of the action, the night was surprisingly quiet. I couldn't find anything to complain about.

The bed was really comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, there was no breakfast offered during my stay, which was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

Barbara was exceptionally helpful and friendly, providing complimentary water, an umbrella, a hair dryer, and an iron, plus a clean, comfortable room. The location is spot‑on, next to a great café, shops, and the main street that leads to the Quadrado, making it easy to walk to Coqueiros and Nativos beaches. We’ll definitely be back, though a plug‑in mosquito repellent would have been nice.
