It is not far from other nice complexes and offers great value for money, but the overall situation with frequent power outages in the whole area requires a strong spirit of adaptation.

The power often cuts out, there is no internet or air conditioning for hours during the day and night, and it’s too hot to sleep.

Summary of this review
The guest house sits on a quiet street 100 m from the beach, the staff is friendly, and the beach restaurant is owned by the same person and is very nice. Payment is only by cash. There is supposedly a view of a garden, but there isn’t really one; the lighting in the room is very weak, and the Wi‑Fi is unreliable (the Gambian network isn’t good in general).

The spot is great, but the toilet kept wobbling. 🚽
