The place was perfect for an overnight stay, though we wish we could have extended it. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. We didn’t dine at the restaurant, but it was clearly busy and popular; both dinner and breakfast looked incredibly inviting, so I’m disappointed we missed them.

The view of Spike Island and the inlet from the hotel was fantastic. The staff were very nice and professional. We enjoyed a lovely room and had a great stay. Everything in town is within walking distance, and the train station is right next to the hotel.

First off, the sea view was amazing. Our room was quite large and faced the harbor. The location is ideal for travelers like us who come by train, as the station sits right next to the hotel. Breakfast seemed adequate compared to what’s typical in Ireland. At check‑out, they showed us a place to store our bags since we had more time. Later that night, my wife’s blood pressure spiked; I think having a simple blood‑pressure cuff at reception would have been inexpensive, but instead the young staff member who cleans the restaurant at midnight suggested we put our finger on our neck and count our pulse, which was the only help offered.

Really good breakfast, water view, so comfy, helpful staff. Nothing, oh, you had to unload your luggage before you parked
