The place sits close to downtown and has on‑site parking, but the room was freezing cold; we had to ask for extra blankets and even roll them around ourselves to keep warm. The air‑con was broken, and the staff didn’t know how to fix it—so we had to restart it, which finally got the heat working. We left early for dinner to make sure it was warm enough when we came back, and still needed two more blankets on the bed. Living in the Snowy Mountains of NSW, this room was just too cold and left us very disappointed.

Everything was spot on—helpful, friendly staff at check‑in, a well‑furnished room, spotless cleanliness, a great location with views, and easy walking distance to city shops and parks. Parking was free and convenient, and the continental breakfast with magazine reading was included in the price. It’s the best value I’ve found on many trips to Tassie over the years.
