The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the carpets were filthy, the beds uncomfortable, and the room smelled of stale beer and cigarettes. There were stains on the walls where someone had spilled a dark liquid that sprayed onto the ceiling and walls. The other guests were unsavory and made us feel uneasy as a family of four with young children—we had to move all our luggage from the car into the hotel room because we didn’t feel safe leaving bags outside. Breakfast was awful: pastries were cut in half and the coffee was poor.

The location is good. There was no pool or hot tub, even though the website claimed there was one; a sign said it was temporarily closed, but it was clearly being used for storage.
