The amazing staff Loren and Jo ❤️ Two of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet in your lifetime! We were not used to the showers and bathroom arrangement, but overall it was an amazing stay.

Loren and Jo are wonderful hosts who shared fascinating local stories, and Jo cooked amazing meals. Raga, muffin, and Jake added a delightful surprise to our stay. This was a fantastic way to experience the USVI without a typical hotel room. They were very accommodating and friendly. A 5‑minute dinghy ride to Honeymoon Bay let us sunbathe, swim, eat conch fritters, and take painkillers. The head was cramped, but that’s expected on any boat.

The location was great, and the lady went above and beyond, although the guy wasn’t that friendly. It was a good experience, but we didn’t expect the host to stay on the boat with us.

The Sailboat Ragamuffin offers a unique experience: you stay on a sailboat moored off Water Island, where the hosts, who have sailed the Caribbean for 30 years, live. They’re a wealth of information and anecdotes about the US Virgin Islands and beyond. Jo is an accomplished chef who tries to cater to your food preferences. They pick you up by dinghy from Crown Marina dock and take you to Water Island. I had two berths (bedroom and bathroom) on the boat, rocking to sleep with the boat’s motion. Don’t miss Water Island, the golf cart to Limestone Beach (coral reef), and Honeymoon Beach, where turtles swim. The listing didn’t clearly describe the accommodation—it mentioned an apartment and a pool view, which I thought might be a houseboat on a dock, but the pool view is actually the sea around the boat.

Loren, Jo, the three sweet cats, and the wonderful sailboat Rag muffin are exceptional. I had the most memorable time, feeling like part of the family on their lovely sailboat, and they aim to please and accommodate. Exceptional meals, company, and beauty! Gorgeous sunsets even when it rains 😊
