“while there are some strong positives, the lack of privacy, comfort, and temperature control significantly impacted our”
The host was very welcoming, which we appreciated, and the apartment was clean, new, and well‑maintained with a comfy bed and a spacious, spotless bathroom; however, it sits on the second floor with the owner’s family downstairs without a separate door, so privacy was minimal and we could hear and smell everything below, making it uncomfortable at times. The AC only works in one bedroom, leaving the rest of the flat hot, and the ventilation gaps in the ceilings let in mosquitoes, outside noise, and heat, so it felt almost outdoors. Another issue was the lack of furniture—just two beds and a few wooden stools—so there was nowhere comfortable to sit or relax, which limited our enjoyment of the space.
